Lives, retries and undo

Each attempt starts with three lives. Tapping a blocked arrow costs one life. After the third mistake, choose Retry to begin the same level again with three lives, or return Home. Undo does not restore lives or the attempt’s one short chain reaction. Completed levels award three, two or one stars for zero, one or two mistakes. There is no time limit.

Playing offline

The 200 levels, music and game progress work without an internet connection. The Game Center leaderboard, downloading or updating the app, opening these support pages and sending email require a connection.

Stars and the world top 50

The leaderboard adds up your best stars from each level. Replaying a level improves your total only if you earn more stars than before. Joining through Game Center is optional. Your Game Center nickname, stars and rank can be visible to other players. You can optionally choose a country or region, shown publicly as a three-letter code such as FIN. Without a choice the list shows a dash. A changed country may appear only when you earn a new personal-best star total. If the list is unavailable, check your connection and try again later; you can continue playing normally.

Does Game Center save my game?

Game Center keeps your leaderboard score. It does not transfer your current puzzle or unlocked levels to another device. Your game progress is still saved on the device where you play.

Progress and saving

Progress is saved on your device. If the app reports a saving problem, use its retry option and keep the app installed. Contact us if the problem continues. Deleting the app can remove your progress, and we cannot restore a local save from our servers.

Music and haptics

Check the game’s music and haptic settings, device volume, silent mode and connected headphones. Haptic feedback depends on the device; it may be unavailable on an iPad. You can play with both music and haptics switched off.

A puzzle or app problem

For a stuck puzzle, include the level number and a screenshot if useful. For crashes or an unexpected result, describe the steps that led to it and whether it happens again after reopening the app. Avoid reinstalling before contacting us if you want to keep your progress.
