NAKSU · iPHONE & iPAD
You can play Naksu without an account. Your puzzle progress stays on your device. If you choose to join the world leaderboard, Game Center handles your public player name, stars and any country or region you choose to share. This policy explains those choices, support and beta testing.
Updated:
Naksu is developed and operated by Henry Koskinen, who is the controller for personal data handled for Naksu support, beta testing and the optional country/region choice described below. Contact: info@yhdessapeli.fi. This policy covers Naksu 1.0.
Naksu works offline and does not require an account. The app does not send your game progress to us. The current version has no advertising, in-app purchases, usage analytics or advertising tracking. Joining the Game Center leaderboard is optional and described below.
Progress, unlocked levels, stars, the current puzzle and undo history are saved locally on your device, along with language, music, haptic and hint preferences. The levels, music and fonts are included in the app. Naksu does not use your microphone, camera, contacts or device location. The optional leaderboard country/region is chosen by you, not inferred from your IP address or device language.
If you choose to join through Apple Game Center, Naksu submits the sum of your best stars from each level to your Game Center player account. Apple handles the player identifier, player name and score for this service. Your Game Center nickname, star total and rank may appear to other players on the world leaderboard. The list displays the top 50 players and your own placement when available.
You may also choose a country or region for your public leaderboard entry. This optional choice is saved on your device and sent to Apple with your score, where it appears as a three-letter code such as FIN, SWE or USA. Entries with no country information display a dash. We use this choice only to display it beside your score, with your permission. You can leave it unset or change it in the leaderboard view. A change may not appear publicly until your next new personal-best star total, because Game Center retains the best score. Stopping sharing prevents future submissions; it does not erase the score or country already stored by Apple.
A connection is required to use the leaderboard. You can keep playing without joining. We do not operate a separate account system or score server. Game Center scores do not back up or transfer your current puzzle, unlocked levels or other local progress between devices. Apple provides account and privacy controls for Game Center in your device settings and under its own privacy terms.
Local data stays on your device until the app and its data are deleted. Starting a new game does not erase earned stars or unlocked levels. Offloading an app is different from deleting its data. Device backups may retain or restore a copy according to your Apple settings; Naksu does not provide its own cloud account or sync service.
We cannot view, recover or delete progress that is stored only on your device. If keeping your progress matters, contact support before reinstalling the app.
When you choose to contact support, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments or device details you include. We use them to answer the request and investigate the problem, based on our legitimate interest in providing support and maintaining the app. Do not include passwords or information unrelated to the issue.
Messages are handled through our email service and are retained only as long as needed to resolve the request, handle related follow-up and meet applicable legal obligations. They are deleted when no longer needed. We do not use support messages for advertising.
Apple handles app distribution under its own privacy terms. If you test Naksu through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects beta usage and crash information and shares it with the developer. Feedback you submit is also shared; depending on the invitation method, tester contact information may be visible to us.
We use information made available through TestFlight to investigate bugs and improve the game. Our basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining and testing Naksu. We retain any exported reports only while needed for that work or related legal obligations and do not share TestFlight data with third parties. Apple determines how data remains available in its services; its policy explains the details.
